Cantwell offers the following accomodations for mushers and spectators at the Cantwell Classic:
Denali Manor: 11 bed and breakfast rooms; 21 motel rooms; website is denalimanor.com. telephone, 907-768-2223; located at Mile Post 209, George Parks Highway. Musher friendly with a huge parking lot for dogs and sleds. The only requirement is that mushers clean up dog debris before leaving. http://denalimanor.hypermart.net/
Backwoods Lodge: Located on the Denali Highway, about a half mile from the George Parks Highway, 10 motel rooms and two cabins; telephone -907-768-2232; website: backwoodslodge.com. Quiet rooms for spectators and officials. Backwoods Lodge loves dogs but desires to have a "bark-free" environment.
Cantwell Lodge: Located 3 miles from the George Parks Highway, they have several rooms and a large parking lot and welcome sleds and dogs. Telephone - 907-768-2300. http://cantwell-lodge.com/
